Forest walks (open) Empty

Jane couldn't really sleep as of late she had been having nightmares about the day her older sister died. It hurt to think about Kaitlyn and how she sacrificed herself to save both Jane and her step-sister, Anna. Jane had been ten at the time and hadn't known the truth of her parentage when the monsters caught the scent of the two demigods and attacked. Jane feeling her emotions starting to come to the surface decided a walk in the forest was in order no matter how dangerous it was since she didn't want anyone to see her like this. Her cabin mates may be her peers but she didn't want them to see this side of her.

Pulling her leather jacket on over her purple top, Jane sneaked out of the cabin and headed towards the forest. She knew this was not the best example to be setting for younger campers, but she needed her space to think and lament. It probably wasn't the best idea to be wandering the forest in the middle of the night. Jane had always found comfort in solitude and tonight was no different. She found herself feeling a bit better. She was only pushing her grief back though, she has never been able to let it go. She sighed as she took a seat on a low hanging branch and pondered her life, sword sitting just at her feet.

Ashley wasn't normally one for breaking the rules. She wasn't one for confrontation really, which was one of the reasons why more and more she didn't feel like she belonged here. At first it had been an escape and nice to meet other people like her, but now she wanted out. She wanted to talk to regular people! The only way to leave the camp over the summers was if you took on a quest, something that Ashley had never been on before or would likely ever go on.

Having used up the little bit of courage she had, Ashley had slipped out during lights out. It was only for a little bit and she was sure she'd be able to get back to the cabin before the harpies found her. Probably. In her seven years at camp she was sure she would have heard if a camper had been eaten by one of the harpies. Thinking about it was making her decision look really bad and she turned around to head back to the cabins but paused when she saw something. "Hello?" She called out while thinking, 'Please don't be a harpy!'

~*~Cerberus Pup ~*~

Cerberus pup had taken to doing training and rounds in the forest. When not lazing or hanging out with his future master Nico or his chosen demi-god mate (in his human form) Aiden. He knew that campers were attached and killed quite often. It was easily covered up. The gods were resourceful and they also had someone to take care of that. The weird boy who smelled like his chosen mate yet wasn't even seen outside shadows. He was prowling the forest shadows. Chasing off harpies yet staying out of sight of the first stupid half mortal that hadleft the barrier (Janelle) and almost become a target. Left with his thoughts outside of chasing birdies off and being glad they weren't in more than one or pairs at the moment. If a flock came he'd be unable to protect foolish campers. Or too many showed up...cue ashley's entrance and wanderings into the forest.

Hearing and smelling another two legger that was actually much closer to his present location then Janelle (Ashley) he had rushed towards the smell of harpy running towards there and launched into the air. Tackling the harpy his three heads had left and right latched into the harpy's throat and the middle held fluff. The small puppy with three heads and harpy rolled as a ball into the same clearing...five feet from Ashely...and landed with a thud. Growling as the left and right head bit into the harpy's throat harder as her shrieks loudly ripped through the air even as far as where Janelle was hiding.
