Traits: Hannah is extremely sensitive to others' emotions, as well as her own. She despises violence and death, and is an active pacifist and vegan. She is very artistic, and enjoys calming and peaceful activities. She can run extremely fast, and has quick reflexes, but has weak upper body strength. She is a talented liar, but only uses this skill when absolutely necessary. She is one of the few demigods without dyslexia, but she does have ADHD.

Personality: Hannah is gentle and kind to everything around her, and is extremely forgiving and understanding. To most people, this makes her seem naive, but she is extremely intelligent and well-attuned to other people's emotions. She is good with words, and will stand up for what she believes in, but will always attempt to find a peaceful solution. She is generally friendly to everyone, but she can't stand bullying or insensitivity. She tends to feel sad rather than angry, and is usually very patient unless she's tired. She is an early riser, and a light sleeper, and enjoys waking up to watch the sun rise.

History: Hannah grew up in foster care after she was abandoned at the hospital as a baby. She was diagnosed with ADHD at an early age, as she was an extremely hyper child, and had trouble paying attention to what people were saying. At seven years old, she witnessed a boy being bullied at her orphanage by a group of ten-year-olds, and didn't think twice about standing up for the kid and telling them off. When they laughed at her, she kicked one of them in the shin, and he started crying. She was horrified, and apologized profusely, offering to call the nurse. Soon after she realized that she felt like crying whenever she saw someone else hurt or sad, and promised herself never to make anyone feel like that.

At nine years old, she gave up eating meat after a friend from the orphanage showed her a video of animal abuse in factory farms, and gave up all other animal products a few months later. She picked up violin around the same time, since she found the music calming. She loved to read from an early age, and was fascinated by all the mythology of the world, making her extremely knowledgeable on the subject.

When she was thirteen, the left wing of her orphanage was burned to the ground by a group of Empousai, and the head of the orphanage, Mr. Pine, revealed to Hannah that he was a satyr, and took her to Camp Half Blood to be trained. Unfortunately, she did not like the camp's focus on fighting and weapon's training, and expressed to Chiron that she had no interest in learning to fight. He attempted to explain to her that she had no choice, but she didn't listen. The next night, during a game of capture the flag, she was nearly killed by a member of the Ares cabin when she refused to fight back. When Chiron approached her, thinking this would convince her to learn to fight, she explained to him that she knew she was going to get hurt, and that she was trying to make a statement: she would rather die than risk killing or injuring someone else. When he saw how adamant she was, Chiron finally gave in, allowing her to be excluded from the more violent activities.
